Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated. ~Confucius
Any fool can make something complicated. It takes a genius to make it simple. ~Woody Guthrie
Successful people understand that you don’t need to make things complicated. ~Anne McKevitt
Keep it simple, sweetheart.
Let me ask you a question: Would you be willing to have a life of grace and ease?
Here’s an easy way to start. Post the mantra:
“All of life comes to me with easy, joy and glory!”
Keep it where you can see it daily.
- Do you add to your business sales page making it complicated, long and confusing?
- Are you going against the old adage, less is more?
- Are you forgetting that one small change now makes a huge difference down the road?
- Are you resisting the advice, counsel, or feedback that your near and dear give you?
- Do you find yourself defending?
Start meditating.
Keep it simple. Sit in meditation position. Focus on your breath. Or a mantra. Repeat to yourself, “All of life comes to me with ease, joy and glory.” Anchor it in.
I see so many people make things complicated. It ruins shit.
The worst thing a client could say to me after I’ve shared with them guidance in response to their question is: “Well, I’ve tried that. Or I’ve done that.”
Usually, they haven’t. If they truly had, they wouldn’t still be having this problem. They’re in resistance and then they resist what I say. Then they tell me why that won’t work or hasn’t in the past. And here lies the problem.
If you believe life is hard, or complicated, or it won’t be easy, well, then, congrats. Life will give you just that.
If you really work on your belief systems to believe that life is flow, and that it is easy and full of grace, congratulations, life will give you that.
I have deep compassion for all of us who worry. It’s human nature. Some of us were incubated in anxiety ridden spaces and grew up in families where stress, anxiety and worry were the name of the game.
Yet, we have choice now and we can change. Only if we choose it. Only if we want to. Only if we really are open to it.
Next time you find yourself telling your story about how it is that isn’t working. Tune in. Turn that off.
Next time you try to make something more complicated, stop that.
Next time you find yourself defending your story about why it won’t work, or it hasn’t in the past, stop it.
I’ve lived the magic first-hand. I know that when I ask, I receive. I often say that I’ve lived, and continue to live, a charmed life.
Is it because I’m better than you? No. Do I deserve better? No. Am I just lucky? No.
I’ve worked hard on my energy and spirit and thoughts to make sure that I’m programmed to think positively. To receive. To be open. To choose. I’m coachable and I know when I’m being resistant and a stick in the mud.
I’ve had things handed to me. Given to me with ease. When I’ve worried, its proven to be a waste of energy. Life has a way of working out.
And now, I believe that to be so. I expect that to be true.
It’s a process to train our minds. We have some un-doing to do. But, it’s possible.
We have to be vigilant about what we allow ourselves to think.
We have to be vigilant about what we say and the stories we tell- these activate vibrations that manifest more of the same.
Finally, we have to be willing to change, to believe in that power, and to choose it for ourselves, fully.
I want for you until you want for you.
So, don’t make it complicated. It’s as easy as sitting down in meditation position and connecting with yourself. It’s has easy as anchoring in. Finding stillness. Feeling your desires, seeing them in your mind’s eye, cultivating the imagery and feelings of what you truly desire.
Create space to nurture your heart. That’s what it is about. You don’t have to hunt, chase, pursue, control, cajole, force.
Sit back, mama. Receive the bounty of your heart as a flow of energy through your space. Heal yourself, healer.
