Oh my goodness. I’ve been having the most ground-breaking epiphanies, a-ha moments and revolutionary thoughts.
I’ve been secretly stealing away and doing something that lights me up in immeasurable ways. I feel like I should let you in. It’s my reading life. Boy! Is it a saucy, private, juicy space lately!
I know not everyone digs reading, but if you do, oh, please! Let me let you in on what’s hot on my kindle right now.
Here’s a list of what I’ve been reading on my kindle:
Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself
The moment I picked this book up in the spiritual bookstore on Pearl St. in Boulder I felt the energy of it. I went home and immediately downloaded it to my kindle. Every page has been full of groundbreaking reading.
Dr. Dispenza takes the cutting edge of science- neuroscience, what we know about the brain, epigenetics, the latest findings on our genetics, and quantum physics and he teaches us how to change our life, by changing our brains, and the way we think.
It’s ultimately one of the best manifesting books I’ve ever read, as it tells you exactly why affirmations alone don’t work and then it gives you the powerful truth of what two things combined give you the power to change your reality.
This is the science behind manifesting and it will make you believe that anything is possible. If you truly to desire to change your life, get this book.
The Conscious Parent
I really wish people would read this book. Okay, I really wish everyone would read this book. I know, I know. I can’t control you. We all have our own way. You don’t have to do what I do. But will you, please?
Oh man, talk about a-ha moments. I don’t have kids yet, but this books shines a light on my child-hood, what I needed, what I didn’t get, what I did and how I can make changes to better meet the needs of my future child.
If you’re a parent and you struggle to connect with your kids, or you have fights, or your teenager or youngster is rebellious, then you HAVE to read this book.
If you’re a person who had parents, you have to read this book. No, never-mind, don’t read this book.
Oh, man, this is spirituality, consciousness, living life as a journey and how to parent and relate to young people all wrapped up in an honest and revealing book.
Overcoming Underearning
I think this book may have played a major role in the huge shift that just occurred in my life. I was up in Steamboat Springs, reading this book and feeling inspired. I did what she said, I wrote down in my journal, this is the year I overcome underearning.
You see, I was in a space where I was working my business, The Boulder Psychic, part-time and I was teaching in school part-time. I felt trapped. I couldn’t grow in in either one. Through this book, I realized this was a way in which I was keeping myself from earning more. I couldn’t grow in my business, and I couldn’t grow in my teaching gig- my income there was set.
Once we see something, that is, once a way we’re being becomes conscious, we can’t go back. Once I was clear that my current choices were keeping my income stuck and that it was fully and simply just a choice, I realized I could leave my position teaching and thus open up possibility for earning more.
If you’re ready to earn more, this book is for you.
Money isn’t the Problem, You Are
Access Consciousness and the Bars have changed my life. I’m a different person today than I was before I found these tools + processes. If you’re not familiar with Access Consciousness, check out their resources, or consider getting a Bars session with me if you’re near to Boulder.
I love these tools because they work. I use them with clients in my coaching and I use them myself, all day long! My life isn’t what it use to be- I use to struggle in unhealthy relationships, I worked too much for too little, I didn’t believe in myself fully, I spent my time partying and experimenting with drugs.
Now, I’m working full-time for myself. I have a thriving, growing business and I’m booked up with clients. I have money. I’ve found the love of my life. I’m pregnant and starting a family. How does it get better than this?!
To get started, check out this book. You’ll get a taste of the tools and how to create the change you desire.
Thanks for joining with me today. I’d love to hear from you. Leave a comment below and let me know what books you love lately, or if you read one of these and want to share what you got.
All my love,
Xo
