We’re all psychic. Or at the very least, we all have the potential to be psychic. Some of us will choose it, and some won’t.
If you’d like to develop your psychic abilities, there are 3 proven ways to do so.
Validating ourselves as spirit is an important step in honing our abilities. When we validated that we already are psychic, then we’re allowing ourselves to actually have our abilities. When we relate to being psychic like it’s some special gift that we don’t yet have and we have to perform particular steps to get there, we’ll just end up disempowering ourselves.
The fact is, you’re already perceiving, receiving and being aware of a lot. Are you willing to validate it? To honor it? To acknowledge that that’s going on?
If so, then you actually get to change your energy and your vibration, realizing that something already is, rather than coming from a place of lack and thinking you don’t have any abilities as of yet.
Remember, what we put our attention on, grows. So, validating that which already is will allow those parts of yourself to grow.
Clear the cobwebs
Being psychic means, “Of the soul.” What is your soul? What is the energy of your soul? What does it fel like when you’re connected to that eternal, vast, intelligent part of yourself? Being distracted, amped up on caffeine and anxious won’t help you feel connected to your spirit.
So, we’ve got to have some tools in our toolbox to work with our own energy. Relating to yourself, and developing a relationship with your energy is a vital part of being a psychic being. Psychics pick up energy, and if you can decipher if that energy is yours, or someone or something else’s, then your psychic gifts will be confusing.
Whether it’s grounding, meditating, dreaming, or walking amongst the trees, having a ritual where you can quiet your mind and hear your soul’s guidance is uber important.
Have a Healthy Self-Esteem
People underestimate the value of self-esteem and its role in being a psychic healer. If you don’t have a strong sense of self, you won’t be able to hear your own guidance. And, even if you do, you won’t likely be able to speak up and share your soul’s wisdom, for fear of being judged or ridiculed.
The two first steps I’ve shared here help with this third step. Validating yourself, in all your beauty and talents will help you know your gifts. Relating deeply with yourself and developing a discipline or practice to commune with your own soul will also build your sense of self, and thus your self-esteem. They go hand in hand.
