Women: Follow the Cycles of Nature and Take a Winter’s Rest

Greetings friend. I’m writing to let you know that I will be closing business for a winter’s rest.

I’m following in the footsteps of one of my teachers & mentors, Sara Avant Stover. I am highly passionate about following the flow of nature and its active vs. rest cycles.

This darkest time of the year, as we head towards the Winter Solstice on December 21st, is such a rich & potent time. I have always felt highly creative & intuitive during this time. My dreams are rich, my desires nurtured, and my time for rest is ample, as we spend a majority of time in darkness.

This time of year is a time for slowing down, letting go of what we do not need, and incubating.

Let’s get ready for the silence, as Ayla Nereo, one of my favorite singer/songwriters says.

What do you desire to nurture & hold close? What dreams will you birth in the spring?

Now is the time to retreat, to rest, to marinate in the stillness and allow yourself the rich pleasure of doing nothing. Out of the stillness, creativity will be born.

As of now, I will retreat. You won’t receive a newsletter from me again until after the new year. If you email, it’s nothing personal, but I likely won’t respond.

I’ll be taking a rest from seeing clients as well, but I look forward to connecting with you in the New Year.

I treasure you so, and thank you for being here, part of my tribe, my community.

Many blessings to you & yours in this magical, sacred time. Many wishes to you for rest, replenishment & deep nourishment.

I intend to take some time to meditate, do yoga, journal, write, spend time in nature & get creative with new ideas.

What do you do to enjoy the silence? Leave a comment below to declare the way you will rest and nurture yourself this winter.

Thanks so much for joining with me today!

I look forward to sharing with you as the light returns.

Much love, peace & rest,

Rachel Claire
